This artisan process involves meticulously applying finely ground mineral glazes onto a 925 sterling silver base, which is then fired in a kiln at temperatures between 750°C and 850°C multiple times. Why does each enamel piece look slightly different?
Because each piece of enamel jewelry is painted by hand and transformed within a high-temperature kiln, subtle shifts in color gradients, transparency, and surface texture are completely natural characteristics of the artisan process. Tiny bubbles or faint kiln marks captured during the firing are organic traits inherent to vitreous enamel, not flaws.
