Shipping Policy

At JR-workshop, every piece of jewelry is handcrafted in small batches using high-temperature vitreous enamel techniques. Because of this, each order carries a commitment to meticulous craftsmanship, requiring a dedicated creation window before it is ready for dispatch.

Handling & Production Time

  • All creations are made to order.
  • Production Time: 3–12 business days (ensuring ample time for fine hand-finishing, multiple kiln firings, and strict quality checks).

Shipping Coverage & Transit Time

We offer worldwide shipping to connect with art collectors across the globe. Our core delivery routes include the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and major European countries.

  • International Transit Time: Typically 3–15 business days, depending on the destination country and local customs processing speeds.
  • Once your package is dispatched, an official tracking number will be automatically emailed to you by our system.
  • Please Note: Delivery timelines are estimates. Shipping may take longer during major global holiday seasons (such as the Christmas peak) or during unexpected customs inspections.

Shipping Rates

We keep our shipping costs clear and straightforward, with no hidden fees:

  • Orders of $49 USD and above: Free International Standard Shipping.
  • Orders under $49 USD: A flat global rate of $7 USD.
  • Express Shipping: Upgrades to premium carriers like DHL or FedEx are available upon request. Please contact us before placing your order for a precise quote based on your destination.

Customs, VAT, and Import Duties (2026 International Trade Notice)

When international packages cross sovereign borders, they may be subject to import regulations and taxes. JR-workshop operates on a model that does not include destination taxes or duties; our system does not collect or remit any overseas import fees at checkout.

  • United States (US) Orders: In accordance with current U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, the traditional Section 321 low-value duty-free exemption has been suspended. Currently, all commercial and e-commerce parcels entering the U.S. are subject to import duties and formal/informal entry procedures, regardless of the order value. Any applicable import tariffs and courier clearance service fees must be borne entirely by the recipient (buyer) and paid to the local delivery agency upon arrival.
  • European Union (EU) Orders: The European Union has removed duty-free thresholds for low-value goods under €150. As an independent artisan studio, we are not integrated into the EU’s prepaid tax system (IOSS). Once your parcel arrives, you will need to cooperate with your local postal service to complete a simplified declaration and settle: ① Your local standard Import VAT; ② The EU transitional flat duty (approx. €3); ③ And any associated postal handling fees. Thank you for your cooperation—this is a mandatory step for your handmade artwork to enter the EU legally.
  • United Kingdom (UK) Orders: All commercial shipments are subject to the UK’s standard 20% Import VAT and applicable customs tariffs at the border. These fees must be cleared by the recipient in coordination with the local delivery carrier.
  • Other Regions: Import duties, taxes, and clearance fees are strictly determined by your local authorities, and the recipient carries full legal and financial responsibility for them.

Delivery & Return Liabilities

Once a package leaves our studio and is scanned into transit by the carrier, the logistical handling and customs clearance timelines become the responsibility of the carrier and destination customs. If a package is returned to us because the recipient refused to clear local taxes or declined delivery, all two-way shipping costs and product damage losses will be deducted from the final refund.

Lost or Delayed Packages

If your order has passed its estimated delivery window or the tracking information has stalled for an extended period, please reach out to us at [email protected]. We will immediately initiate an official inquiry with the international carrier and work closely with you to resolve the matter.
